Be our guest or Hollywood & vine? Also, what is your opinion on adults ordering from the kids menu? I head you still get a lot from the kids menu and it saves money.

Hi, Erica! Wow, this is a tough question. I've put a lot of thought into it, consulted family members, and even browsed online reviews. This is what we've come up with.

    It depends.

I know, I know - awful answer! But let's talk this out. What kind of meal are you looking for? Hollywood & Vine is a character meal that features a scrumptious buffet for all three meals. There's a little singing, lots of character hugging, and a wide variety of food options that should appeal to everyone in your dining party. An adult would not be able to order a children's portion here, but I think I'd pick here for the characters.

Be Our Guest Restaurant is not a character meal, although you may see the Beast browsing the books in the library before you leave if you dine there for dinner. Breakfast and lunch are quick service meals, meaning you'll place your order at the counter, then go find a table. The food will be served to you once you are seated. For most meals there, you can order either from the adult or children's menu, however, be aware that starting at the end of July, the dinner here becomes a prix fixe meal, and as a result, adults will be charged the adult price.

As for ordering from the children's menu, I think at most locations, you're going to be fine with portion sizes and such. The kids menus are definitely more limited, and I recommend browsing the appetizer side of the menu before making the commitment. I have often chosen a delicious appetizer with a soup or salad and been quite satisfied.

    Enjoy a wonderful trip!
