Where is guest drop off/pickup for magic kingdom

    Hi Robert!

    Welcome to planDisney!

The Guest drop-off/pick-up area for the Magic Kingdom will depend on your mode of transportation.

If you’re arriving via car (including a rideshare service), you will be dropped off and picked up at the Transportation and Ticket Center. To get from the Transportation and Ticket Center to Magic Kingdom, you will hop on the Monorail or Ferry to make your way to the front entrance of the park.

If you’re arriving via bus, resort Monorail, resort boat, or Minnie Van, you will be dropped off right at the main entrance to Magic Kingdom.

Depending on when you’re planning to visit Magic Kingdom, there are some exciting reopenings happening soon. After extended refurbishments, both Big Thunder Mountain and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin are set to reopen in Spring 2026. While the exact dates haven’t been announced yet, I’d keep an eye on Disney World's website and the Disney Parks Blog in the coming weeks.

In addition to those, the nighttime Starlight parade debuted and the Pirates of the Caribbean-inspired lounge, Beak and Barrel, opened last year. Both of those new offerings are some of my current favorites at the park! I highly recommend trying to snag advanced reservations for Beak and Barrel if it’s on your priority list, as it’s been a popular spot.

I hope you have the best time at Magic Kingdom! If you have any other questions, feel free to come back and visit us. We’re always happy to help!
