When a guest has the dining plan, is it possible to dine and not use the dining plan credit while paying with the magic band ? (for exemple, if you want to save a credit for a later diner at a later date)

Hi Sebastien! Thanks for the excellent question! That is one of the great things about the Disney Dining Plan. You can use it whenever you want, however you want. Personally, I like to strategize a bit, and save my credits for the more expensive restaurants where I can get the most value. And you're right, if you're going to dine at Signature restaurants which require two credits, you'll need to keep that in mind as well. Just be sure to tell your server that you plan on paying out of pocket and not using your Dining Plan credits. You can then decide if you want to pay by cash, credit card, or charge it to your resort room using your Magic Band.

Write us back with any other questions Sebastien! Wishing you a magical vacation!
