Howdy Dianna! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I am thrilled to hEAR you will be visiting Walt Disney World soon. It is fun to experience two different types of vacations in one location when staying at
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort or
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. A rustic getaway and camping in the woods combined with all the
benefits of staying close to the magic make this a perfect way to experience Walt Disney World.
You can have the true campground experience by renting or bringing your own cart to the resort. It does make getting around this large property much easier. It is important to follow the
rules and regulations for these vehicles while visiting the resort.
I did speak with the experts at Fort Wilderness about the requirements for bringing your own cart on property. They do not require the vehicle to be insured, nor do they require you to show proof of insurance upon arrival. It is important to know that guests are responsible for any damage caused by their cart during use on the property.
After a day at the parks, hop on your cart and mosey on over to the
campfire under the stars and enjoy some roasted marshmallows and your favorite Disney film. It is the perfect way to end your perfect day.
Enjoy making magical memories! Angie
