Is a guest allowed to use either a crockpot, instant pot, or hot plate in a DVC Studio room?

    Welcome Home Donald!

I love my Instapot and my crockpot so much! They make delivering a delicious, perfectly tender meal a breeze. I will admit, it took me a bit to lean into the Instapot craze, but once I made my rice and beans recipe (that usually takes all day) in an hour and a half WHILE I was out of the house, I was sold. I have a feeling that’s what you are looking for to bring a crockpot - a delicious meal being prepared while you are out having fun!

Unfortunately, small appliances such as Instapot and hot plates are not allowed in Walt Disney World Resort rooms. But! Most of the Disney Vacation Club studios have a microwave, toaster, and mini fridge to help prepare meals. Also, I have stayed at almost every one of the Deluxe Villa properties, and I can vouch that each of their Quick Service locations has an excellent array of options to satisfy any appetite.

Donald, you also might want to consider adding the Disney Dining Plan to your resort reservation. Depending on the Plan you choose, each of the people in your studio will have a combination of Quick Service and possibly Table Services meals conveniently located all through the Parks and Resorts. Many of the Quick Service locations allow you to order your meal ahead of time via the My Disney Experience app. So they are doing what you want your crockpot to do - save you time and effort!

If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. I wish you a magical vacation!
