I guess I have a 2 part question 1.) is character dining currently available, and if so where and 2.) if I buy a 1 park per day park pass for 6 days can I use one of those days to go to one of Disney’s water parks?

Hi there, Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney! We are so excited that you’ve taken the time to stop by and ask your wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

Walt Disney World Resort is inviting Guests back to experience all of the magic they know and love! This includes dining at many of the classic restaurants that range from counter service dishes all the way to swanky signature locations.

I am happy to let you know that Character Dining is also available at this time! My family and I love using Character Dining experiences to eat a delicious meal while also getting in some fun Disney Character time! One of our personal favorites has got to be Hollywood & Vine since lunch and dinner includes Minnie and friends in different cute outfits based on the season! It is important to keep in mind that not all locations are currently open and some may be operating in a modified fashion to promote Guest safety.

If you would like to check which Character Dining locations are open during your travel dates, you can do so by visiting the “Dining” webpage. All of the dining locations that are not listed as “Temporarily Unavailable” are currently open and accepting reservations. Also, if you click on the individual dining location’s link, you can find out whether or not the Character Experiences are operating on a modified basis.

When buying theme park tickets, Guests have the option of purchasing the Park Hopper option. This allows Guests to visit more than one theme park each day. If you are interested in visiting one of the water parks, you will need a separate water park ticket. With this in mind, I would recommend purchasing base theme park tickets for the number of days you would like to visit the parks and purchasing water park tickets for the number of days you would like to visit the water parks. This is the best way to fit in all of the fun activities you would like to experience in both the theme parks and water parks!

Best of luck as you continue to plan for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you along the way!
