We have a GTY for our Sept cruise. A room number is listed A recent post said we would find out our room 2 weeks before the cruise. So is this not our room, could it change before sail ?

    Welcome back, Mary Julie!

My family and I have sailed many times with Disney Cruise Line and always look to find ways to get the best bang for our Disney buck. Booking a Guarantee stateroom (GTY) is one way to save a bit when those are available. As you know, booking a Guarantee stateroom means that a guest picks a stateroom in a certain category but gets a better price for it along with the possibility of bumping up a category. The guest will be assigned a stateroom that they don't choose themselves guaranteed to be in that stateroom category or better. A couple times we've been super happy to be assigned a higher category that what we paid for with our Guarantee.

Usually with a Guarantee Stateroom booking, you'll be assigned the exact stateroom for your cruise a few weeks prior to your sailing, however sometimes the assignment may come even earlier than that. I can't tell you for sure since I can't access your reservation, but I'd suggest giving the helpful agents at Disney Cruise Line a call at (800) 951-3532 with your reservation number and they can confirm for you if your stateroom has indeed been set.

Have fun counting down the days until the big sail date!
