Hi Karthik!
I believe that Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect place to create unforgettable family moments. So my advice is to bring your youngest along for the adventure.
Of course, traveling with a 23-month old Guest requires advance planning, a laid-back touring plan and a sense of humor! If you are a baby-wearer, definitely bring your favorite carrier along with a stroller. There will likely be times when you decide to use the
Rider Switch Service, and snuggling a sleeping Princess will be more enjoyable inside in the air conditioning rather than outside under the Florida sunshine. If that happens to fall within a nap time, you might want to have your munchkin in a baby carrier to stroll inside rather than trying to lift a sleeping child. I say this from experience!
A stroller with a weather shield is very useful in case you find yourself in an unpredictable Central Florida afternoon storm. This way your daughter can still take in the sights from the
World around her while staying warm, cozy, and dry. Some of the best theme park exploring happens during a storm thanks to shorter waits and more space. Grab a poncho, protect that stroller, and head out!
Also, this might be the perfect vacation to perfect my favorite theme park touring strategy. In the warmer months, we generally like to retreat to our Walt Disney World Resort hotel in the afternoons for a little swim or rest before checking out the nighttime scene. Just as fellow
Disney Parks Moms Panelist, Beth, explains poolside at Stormalong Bay, this is the perfect time to recharge. This is true for Guests of all ages!
I hope these tips help as you explore Walt Disney World Resort with your whole family.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Sally
