    We have a group of 10 visiting WDW in September, 2014 and will not be staying onsite. Where exactly in Downtown Disney can the magicbands be purchased ( already have our RFID tickets)? Can friends coming down sooner purchase the bands for us?

    Hi Melinda! Thanks for the great question! At Disney World, MyMagic+ continues to evolve, and with it, come more and more features that simplify your vacation planning. One of the most recent additions is that now theme park guests who are not staying on Disney property can purchase Magic Bands. At Downtown Disney, you can purchase the bands at Disney's Pin Traders in the Marketplace and at the DisneyQuest Gift Shop on the West Side. You can purchase your bands in any colour, as well as pick up some great accessories for it. A cast member will immediately link up your tickets to the band, so your friends won't be able to purchase them for you in advance of your arrival.
