A group of 6 of us are having an issue assigning tickets to our individual Magic Bands. Trouble is that I bought all 6 Special Event Tickets, someone else bought the park tickets. How do we send tickets to each persons magic band if they have their own app

Hi there, Maria! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. We're happy you're here!

Maria, I have to assume you have your very own wand, because you've created some truly magical plans for yourself and your group coming to Walt Disney World Resort! I completely understand wanting to make sure that everyone has access to their plans when they arrive and I would be glad to help. I'm happy to let you know that, if each Guest in your travel party has a My Disney Experience account, they will be well on their way to accessing all of their tickets and reservations. The MagicBand that's linked to your My Disney Experience account should be paired with the tickets that are also linked to your account. My Disney Experience is the "hub" where all of your plans connect – from MagicBands to dining reservations to special event tickets!

When you make a reservation or purchase, which you then assign to a Guest in your Family & Friends List, that information should be magically linked to that Guest's My Disney Experience account. For example, if I purchase a ticket to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for myself and my husband, I'd select his name from the drop-down list under Guests on the checkout page (since my husband is in my Family & Friends List). This will link this ticket and information to his My Disney Experience account as well! With that being said, let's take a few steps to check and make sure that all of your Donald Ducks are in a row before you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort:

    • First, make sure that all of your Guests are linked in your Family & Friends List through your My Disney Experience account. This will make planning much easier!
    • Check your Family & Friends List to see if anyone's name has the words, "Plans managed by me" next to them. If so, you'll want to click "Update," then "Share Planning with..." Enter the email associated with that person's My Disney Experience account, who will accept the invitation on their end.
    • Let's take a look at your tickets! Log into your account, hover your mouse over the My Disney Experience tab, and click My Plans. Scroll down past My Plans, Reservations and Tickets and toggle over to Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker. Here, you should be able to view all of your tickets and the Guests to whom they're assigned. The Guests in your travel party can follow the same steps to double-check that they're able to see their tickets listed here, too!
    • If you run into any snags with the above steps, you're always welcome to call a friendly Cast Member. They'll be happy to take a peek at your reservations and help you with your next best steps!
Before you arrive, I'd also recommend that you take some time to download and explore the My Disney Experience app. You'll be able to check wait times for attractions, access virtual queues, and even mobile order food – my favorite! And of course, please write back if you have any other questions. We're here to help!

    See ya real soon,
    Michelle
