We are going to be a group of 13 travelling to Disney World in April. We have decided that we are going to take the ferry boat to the park in the morning after breakfast at Ohana on day 1. With our group size, should we / can we pre-book the ferry?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sarah!

How exciting that you have such a big group of friends and family traveling together for this magical vacation! I love visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with my immediate family, but we've had even more fun when friends and extended family join us!

One of the great things about staying at the Polynesian Village Resort (or just visiting there for a delicious meal at Ohana) is that it's a quick trip across the Seven Seas Lagoon to Magic Kingdom. No need to make reservations for any sort of transportation, as the water taxis are coming and going from the dock there all day and night. You won't have long to wait if you miss one as you walk up because before you know it, another will be pulling right up too. They fit quite a few guests, so it's no problem for you to all ride together. Just line up on the dock with any other guests that are waiting and as soon as the ferry is ready, you'll board and be off to Magic Kingdom to spend a magical day!

Enjoy your trip, and have a Mickey Waffle for me at Ohana!
