Welcome to planDisney, Amy. I take all things
Disney dining very seriously, so let's get you an answer!
Currently, if you purchase a
dining plan, everyone in your room gets the same number of meals and snacks, determined by the number of nights in your vacation package. As meals and snacks are nontransferable, they can only be redeemed by the Guest to whom it is assigned and cannot be used by other members of the party. So, you'll just have to use that information as a way to convince those 3 Guests that they just have to stay the whole time! Problem solved!
Staying in one of the
villas at the
Disney Vacation Club Resorts is such a treat, especially when you stay in a 1-bedroom villa or larger. Not only do you get a washer and dryer within your unit, but there's a full kitchen. And while I've never actually cooked a meal other than a quick breakfast, it's pretty awesome that I could! And plus, a group of 11 on a dining plan will likely have some leftovers from some of their meals, so I have a feeling that that full-size refrigerator will come in handy, even if you're not planning on cooking. But seriously, when staying in these accommodations, I love to order some groceries for the trip so we have water bottles, some quick on-the-go snacks, and especially breakfasts so we can hit the ground running during
Early Theme Park Entry!
Amy, enjoy your
culinary adventures on your next trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other questions,
I'd be happy to answer them!Adventure is out there,
Matt
