Happiest Greetings on Earth, Rochelle. Thank you so much for visiting planDisney with your question!
It sounds like you might be planning a special visit with your entire cast of characters! We love helping groups plan their magical adventures to Disneyland Resort, so let me share a few resources with you. Depending on the size and type of your group, you may be able to contact the
Disney Meetings & Events Team to discuss what kind of services they may offer. Or, if you have an educational group, you may wish to connect with the
Disney Imagination Campus. The Cast Members are very skilled at working with large groups and lend some support, depending on what your group might need!
If you simply have a group of extended family and friends and you'd like to know how to begin organizing your plans, I'm happy to assist with some suggestions! First, my recommendation is to begin by linking your tickets and ensuring that everyone in your party has the theme park reservations for each day of your visit. You can follow the prompts to
link tickets online or within the
Disneyland mobile app. I'll also share some
helpful hints on how to do this for a large travel party.
If you need to make a hotel reservation for a large group, you can simply use the
search tool for the Disneyland Resort Hotels and ensure that you enter your preferred dates and the number of adults and children in your party. If your group is larger than 14 people (which is the maximum capacity currently listed for a single reservation) then you may need to book separate reservations that accommodate your travel group. Alternatively, you may wish to
call and speak with a Cast Member about a hotel reservation that best fits your party's needs.
Finally, if you are considering
dining reservations for your group, you should know that you can book them up to 60 days prior to your visit either online or using the mobile app. I have some
tips for securing dining reservations for large travel parties, so I hope this will prove useful to you for your upcoming visit! In my experience, I've been able to find table service dining reservations for about 10 Guests in my party, but if your travel group is larger than that, you may need to secure more than one dining reservation around the same time and inquire with a Cast Member about combining your parties. It isn't always guaranteed to be seated together, but they typically do their very best to ensure you have a wonderful dining experience! In this case, you may need to work with another Guest in your party to book the second reservation, since the system will not allow one account to hold conflicting reservations. But, with a little planning and coordination, it can be done!
I hope these have been some helpful recommendations for you, Rochelle! It's always extra magical to experience Disneyland Resort with people you care about, so I hope your next visit is full of lovely memories together! If we can help with anything else, please don't hesitate to reach out to
planDisney again soon.
Magically yours,
Tishra
