Happiest Greetings on Earth, Sherri! Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for reaching out to us with your question. It's an honor to help Guests like you plan their most magical memories!
One of my favorite things is sharing the joy of a
Disneyland Resort experience with my friends and family members, and it sounds like you are getting ready to plan something very special for your group of 7 soon! I understand how finding dining reservations for larger travel parties can be a little tricky to navigate, so I'll be happy to share some of my advice for your upcoming visit.
First, you've already noticed that it may be easier to locate
table service dining reservation availability for smaller groups. If you're willing to break up your larger group into two parties (of say, 3 and 4 each), you may be able to find dining reservations at the same time or within 15 minutes of one another. You'll need another adult in your party to make the reservation under their Disney account since the system will not permit conflicting plans. Then, I recommend you arrive at the dining location a few minutes early and kindly ask the Cast Member at the host stand if they can accommodate combining your reservations for one large group table or placing your tables very near one another at the restaurant. While nothing is guaranteed, the Cast Members will always do their best to accommodate your request!
Sherri, I have a
few more tips for sharing plans with your larger travel party here. I'm hoping they help you feel ready and confident to make the most of your upcoming visit to 'The Happiest Place on Earth!' It's going to be a magical time and I'm so excited for you and your loved ones. Please don't hesitate to come back to
planDisney anytime we can answer your questions.
Wishing you Wondrous Journeys,
Tishra
