We are a group of 17ppl visiting the park at the end of March and I was wondering is there a group rate to get into the Magic Kingdom? I have looked through all of the questions but I have not found any info... Please help

    Hi Kimberly,

Welcome to planDisney! You've come to the right place for help with planning a getaway to The Most Magical Place on Earth, and I'd be happy to point you in the right direction so you and all of your fellow Mouseketeers can make all your Disney dreams come true in just a few weeks!

Yes, Disney does offer group discounts for large groups of Guests, but in order to be eligible, you need to book at least ten Disney Resort hotel rooms for at least one night. If your group fits that requirement, I'd encourage you to chat with Disney Group Getaways. If not, Hakuna Matata, no worries...you'll still be able to purchase your theme park tickets and be all set for the magic and fun to begin! Any Guests ages three through nine will qualify for a discount, and any little ones under the age of three will be free! If you're buying your theme park tickets online, you'll notice that you won't be able to purchase more than ten tickets at a time. If you'd like to purchase all 17 at once, I'd encourage you to call a friendly Cast Member who specializes in new tickets.

Before your purchase your tickets, though, I'd encourage you to check the availability calendar. As part of the phased reopening, Disney Park Pass reservations are required for admission in addition to valid theme park tickets. As long as you see green for Magic Kingdom Park on your preferred date, you're all clear to go ahead and purchase your tickets and make your reservations. Your spots in the park will be guaranteed!

Just one more tip when traveling with a large group...don't be afraid to split up a bit from time to time. Some thrill-seeking Guests may want to tackle all of the mountains (Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, that is), while others may prefer attractions that move a little slower. By allowing everyone to enjoy their personal must-dos, you'll all have a magical day and can share about your experiences while you enjoy a special dinner or your favorite Mickey-shaped snacks together.

Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Kimberly, and please come see us again if you have any other questions as you're planning your visit. I hope you and all of your loved ones have a truly magical vacation together!
