I have a group of 51 people heading to Walt Disney World for a family reunion. How many people can I purchase and book the Lightning Lane/Multi Pass for?

    Hello Rikki!

Thanks for popping over to planDisney with such a great question. I'm thrilled to hear about your family's reunion plans! Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect place to celebrate a great, big, beautiful tomorrow and a great, big, beautiful family! You are sure to make plenty of magical memories together.

As you've heard, Lightning Lane Passes recently launched and now offer guests the opportunity to purchase and pre-plan attraction return times ahead of their arrival. I'm really excited to use this on my family's next big trip, especially because I won't have to worry about finalizing plans at 7 a.m. each morning while trying to get ready for a park day.

I had the same question about group sizes when we first heard about this updated program. During a training call, I learned that Lightning Lane Passes can be purchased and planned for up to 20 guests. This is an increase over the maximum party planning size of the past, but you'll still need to designate a few helpers to split your reunion party into groups.

Be sure everyone is connected via your Family & Friends list, then decide who will handle which family members' selections. Keep in mind that you might not all be able to get the same attraction return times, but since you'll get a 1-hour return window you can hopefully overlap and find a time that works for each batch. I also recommend checking out this recent answer I shared with another guest so you're familiar with the timing and attraction groups when it's time to make your selections.

Rikki, I hope this was helpful. Please come back and see us again with more planning questions. We're always glad to share our best tips to help guests have their most magical visit.

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
