1 of our group will not arrive until day 4 of our trip but have to purchase the room for the whole time. He won't use all his TS credits but they are going to Cinderella(2 cr) leaving 3 extra. Can his wife use 1 and can the kids use adult them?

Hi Cathy Lynn! On the regular Disney Dining Plan, each guest in the room receives one Table-Service, one Quick-Service and one snack credit for each night of their resort reservation. These dining credits are pooled, meaning that a family of four staying for five nights would have 20 of each type of credit to use. These meal and snack credits may be used by any member of the party in any order, although the children's meal credits may be used only for children's meals and not adult meals. Since one member of your group is arriving later than the others, other members of the party could use his meal credits. Using an adult meal credit to purchase a meal from the children's menu is not the most cost-effective use of Dining Plan credits, but it is permitted. Consider instead having the adults in the group use the extra adult dining credits and paying out-of-pocket for the extra children's meals to get more bang for your buck.

Wishing you a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
