Hi, a group of 12 of are going in May 2010, too bad we are staying off property but can we bring a backpack with waters and snacks into the parks?

    Delores,

Of course you can bring a pack of snacks in! What a great way to save your money for more fun things, like souvenirs!

I strongly recommend upon entering the parks (any of them) that you rent a locker to hold your backpack. You can rent a locker for just $5 a day, paying $7 at the start, and getting $2 back when you return the key.

Also, if you change parks in the same day, just show your receipt, and you can get a locker rental essentially for free. You just have to put down another returnable $2 key deposit!

This will free you up from having to lug that backpack around and from getting your snacks smashed on a ride.

Locker areas are inside the gates, and are marked on park maps. Don't make the mistake of using a locker by a park's bus area, where you don't get a deposit back, and have to leave the park to get to your snacks!

And don't worry about staying off-property. There is plenty of magic waiting for you when you get there!

Please feel free to send me any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
