Hiya Michelle,
Welcome to planDisney! We are so glad you are here, and we're happy to help with your upcoming vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Normally, flight changes aren't my favorite, but when they add extra time at Walt Disney World, sign me up! By the way, Michelle, great question about
Memory Maker. As you know, you can use one Memory Maker for up to 25 Guests, and you don’t all have to be in the pictures together. You also don’t have to use it during the same days, which is my favorite part. So on the day the first family arrives, they can take as many photos as they want (make sure they scan their MagicBands or Key to the World cards), even if you aren't there yet! The key thing to make sure that those photos are included as part of your Memory Maker is for you to activate the Memory Maker purchase. To activate, go to the photo gallery in your
My Disney Experience mobile app, select one of the photos taken on that first day, and choose the option to activate. Once activated, all of the photos from that day (and the entirety of the Memory Maker window) will appear without the watermark for download.
I hope this was helpful, Michelle. One last thing: make sure you and the Guests in the first family to arrive (and all families) are not only linked in your Family and Friends list, but also sharing photos. Under the
Family and Friends list, there is an option to “Edit Settings.” Select the Guest you are linked to, and you will see an option to have them view your Disney PhotoPass photos. Make sure that it is toggled on for viewing for both your account and theirs, and then you will be able to view their photos (and they can view yours) as well as activate the Memory Maker for their photos on Day 1. I hope you and your group have an amazing trip together, and if you need anything else, please come back and see us.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
