Ahoy, Emma!
I love your spontaneity! I've only booked one last minute cruise because I'm a planner, but I must admit that it was fun having only a few weeks to count down to our magical voyage! A Disney Cruise is a great addition to a visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort, so I'm not surprised you are considering seeing Captain Mickey while you're visiting Orlando! Disney Cruise Line runs at about 98% capacity the majority of the time, which means you may have trouble securing a reservation at the very last minute. Many sailings are sold out especially during peak times (holidays, spring break and summer). If you are able to find availability at the last minute, Disney Cruise Line will need two to three days to process your reservation. My advice is to keep an eye on the cruise you are considering by checking stateroom availability on the
Disney Cruise Line website. You can begin to make a reservation online and see what is open in the various stateroom categories to know if the cruise is close to being sold out. If you decide to book last minute, you can either call (800) 951-3532 or reserve online with the cruise line.
Best wishes for a pixie-dusted vacation, Emma! I hope you are able to make it a land and sea adventure!
