Hey there, Gerald, and welcome to planDisney!
How wonderful that you're planning a large party vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth! My family often travels as a multi-generational crew, and it's always a delightful experience filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories for everyone.
I'm always excited to discover a great deal, and it's even more exciting when it involves all things Disney! Walt Disney World often features
special promotions, offers, and discounts to make vacation planning easier. Right now, there are some excellent deals for Summer 2025, like
free dining and
room discounts. Since you're planning ahead for 2026, I recommend checking back frequently since new offers are regularly updated. Additionally, the
Disney Parks Blog is a great resource for staying up to date on the latest news.
Here are some of my favorite tips when traveling with a large group:
Ensure that everyone in your traveling party downloads the
My Disney Experience app and connects through the "Family & Friends List" feature. This will allow you to coordinate and share plans seamlessly, including purchasing and booking
Lightning Lane selections and securing dining reservations together.
When
dining with a large group, I sometimes find it tricky to book a single reservation for everyone. In those cases, I find it helpful to make two or three separate reservations at the same time. When we arrive at the restaurant, we let the Cast Member know we're all together, and they usually do their best to seat us all near each other.
One of my top recommendations is to take advantage of
Disney PhotoPass and consider purchasing
Memory Maker. While I always appreciate this service, it becomes even more valuable when traveling with a large group. With so many special moments happening throughout the parks, it ensures that every memory is captured — whether it's a group photo or candid shot. Best of all, it lets everyone be in the picture together without worrying who's behind the camera.
Gerald, I know I've shared a lot of information, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any additional questions. We're always happy to help! In the meantime, enjoy the planning journey — it's almost as magical as the vacation itself!
Happy Planning!
