    Our group would like to have dinner before the Fantasmic show at Hollywood Studios. What restaurants offer preferred seating for the show? We're also celebrating our son's 1st B-day, will they do anything special at the restaurant? Thanks, Beth

    Hi Beth-

    Congrats to your little pirate turning 1 in Disney.

    There are three restaurants which you can purchase the Fantasmic! Dinner Show Package.  Starting with the most expensive is the Brown Derby.  This elegant restaurant is styled like the original and features a wonderful menu.

    Next in price is Mama Melrose.  This Italian eatery is located near Muppets 3-D and offers delicious brick oven pizzas.  However, I am not a fan of this eatery as the meal is just okay.

    Finally, the least expensive is Hollywood and Vine.  Here is a decent buffet with some interesting selections.  This is usually where my family eats when we want to see Fantasmic!

    Remember unlike other Advance Dining Reservations, this is a confirmed reservation, and you must make a deposit and cancel within 48 hours to avoid a penalty.  As for the seating part, you are allowed to enter the show about half hour before it starts at an entrance near the front of the park.  Your seats will be in one section all the way on the right of the show. 

    Using the dinner and a show combination will reduce your wait time for Fantasmic! especially if you have young children or it is a busy time of the year.

    As for the special birthday treat, simply ask your server upon arrival what they can do for your pirate. Every restaurant is different.  You can even order a special cake for him with 48 hours notice by calling 407-827-2253.  You can also call 407-939-BDAY to arrange other birthday treats.
