group of 8 cruising 3/10/14. We have 4 to do the B.L. dolphin swim, 3 do the encounter, and one observer. Are the two excursions close to each other so the observer can watch both, or will she need to choose just one? Will all 8 start off together? Thanks

    Ahoy Kari!
Your Disney Cruise will be a bit more magical since you will be sailing with a group next March!  Although the programming can always change, the encounter and swim usually happen at the same time.  I have researched your question before and was told that the encounter is shorter than the swim so the Guests participating in the encounter should ask to go in the first group so they can watch a portion of the swim.  This would also allow the observer in your group a chance to see both because they are in close proximity to each other.
I hope this helps, Kari!  If I can provide you additional information, please let me know!
    Have a magical day!
