We are a group of 15 (13 adults, 1 child, 1 under 2) celebrating several major birthdays at Walt Disney World. The app won’t show options for our party size. How can we book a table together?

    Hey there, Stephanie!

I'm so excited to welcome you to planDisney! It sounds like you're heading to the Most Magical Place on Earth with a multi-generational group, which is truly something special. You definitely came to the right place because planning trips like this is totally my jam! When my family travels together, we're a group of 12, and while it might seem overwhelming at first, I promise it can be practically perfect in every way. In fact, some of our most memorable and meaningful vacations have been multi-generational... complete with laughter, shared moments, and magical memories for everyone!

In my experience, making Advanced Dining Reservations for a large group is usually much easier if you book two smaller reservations for the same time instead of trying to fit everyone into one big party. When you check in for your meal, just let the Cast Member know that your parties are together and kindly request to be seated together or near one another. While it's never guaranteed, Cast Members truly go above and beyond to make it work whenever they can.

This is also a great time to mention that you're celebrating some special birthdays. And don't forget to pick up your complimentary Celebration Buttons at your Disney Resort front desk or any Guest Relations location in the theme parks. They're a fun way to add a little extra pixie dust to your trip!

Here's a bonus tip when traveling with a large group: don't be afraid to split up! When you have a lot of people with different ages, energy levels, and interests, trying to do everything together can sometimes feel overwhelming. Giving everyone the freedom to explore what they love most can actually make the trip more enjoyable for everyone. Then, you can always regroup for meals, shows, or special moments. Those shared experiences often become some of the best memories.

Stephanie, I hope this helps, and you have the most magical trip at the most magical place! If any other questions pop up, you're always welcome here at planDisney!

    Magical Wishes,

    Kami
