Can I have my groceries delivered to a Disney World resort hotel prior to my arrival/check in? I won’t be arriving until midnight but I’d like to have my groceries delivered beforehand so I have everything I need in the morning.

Hiya, Jessica, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with this excellent question because I, too, like to have some comfort from home waiting at my Disney Resort hotel. I recently did this, so I'm happy to share my experience and tips. Let's start shopping!

You can order supplies from your favorite delivery service or supermarket. My first tip is to place your order as soon as possible so that you can choose your desired delivery time. Be sure to include the address of your Disney Resort hotel from the resort's landing page, along with your full name and confirmation number. Adding the word "Guest" to the order is also recommended to alert the staff.

Bell Services at your resort will accept delivery of your groceries as long as no items require an ID, such as alcohol. They'll even refrigerate perishable foods until you arrive. The resorts recommend scheduling delivery as close to your estimated arrival time as possible, and I suggest adding helpful notes about your plans to the order, especially a good contact number.

Many resorts offer the option to have your items delivered to your room for a small fee, so feel free to call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line for details about your specific resort. You can also stop by Bell Services to pick up your order in person; this is what I did, and I found it to be an easy process!

Jessica, I hope your upcoming visit is full of delicious snacks to make your family feel at home. Remember, planDisney is here for you anytime. We're always ready to deliver answers to your questions!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
