Ahoy, Jalilah!
I absolutely love all of the holiday decorations that deck the halls of the Disney Magic on the
Very Merrytime Cruises! I bet you will get some great photos in front of the giant Christmas tree and Gingerbread in the atrium.
On every 7-Night Disney Cruise Line sailing, you can expect 4 nights of
cruise casual attire. This simply means that no tank tops or swimwear is allowed in the main dining rooms for dinner. Our family typically packs sundresses for the girls and khakis with polos for my husband for these nights.
You will also have one optional formal night and one optional semi-formal night. On these nights, you might choose to pull out your best ball gown and maybe even a tiara for your daughter. You will see your fellow passengers in everything from tuxedos and ball gowns to khakis with polos and sundresses. Our family loves to get all dressed up and take family photos. I love to find Goofy in his tuxedo for a picture!
Your cruise will also have a Pirate Night. If you enjoy costumes, then this night is for you! You can dress in your pirate-y best on this night and head up to party the night away. For the best fireworks viewing, head up to Deck 10, starboard (right) side. I promise, you won't be disappointed!
I hope this helps with your cruise planning. Please come back and visit us again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have more cruising questions. Have a wonderful time sailing on the Disney Magic!
Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
