Heigh-Ho Lauren,
Happy National Plan for Vacation Day!!!!! Truthfully I am jealous of your snowy winters. Here in the D.C. area, we keep hoping for another Snowmaggedon like 2016 because, YES!, I want to build a snowman or two or three! But I digress, onto warmer talk and welcoming you home to Walt Disney World.
Disney’s Old Key West Resort is truly one of my favorites. Relaxing and sipping a Pina CoLava, while basking in the Florida sunshine, watching the palm trees sway sounds Practically Perfect right about now. And then deciding to take a leisurely stroll along the 1.3mile trail past the golf course, catching a glimpse of Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and onward to some shopping, entertainment and dining at
Disney’s Springs. And then wrapping up my perfect day with a boat ride home, in the evening, makes for a Happily Ever After ending.
I am happy to report from dawn to dusk the walkway is open for Guests. If you need directions, the front desk will happily direct you. Another option, and one you might need to utilize, if staying at Disney Springs until dark, is the ferryboat. Guest, at Disney Springs, can board the ferryboat at one of four docks (The Landing, Marketplace, West Side and Town Center) and cruise home to slumber at your home, in Disney’s Old Key West.
If I can be of any
further assistance ask away but until then stay warm and enjoy your white winter. May your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World be filled with sunny sunshine, and many magical moments.
Amy M.
