Greetings!! I made reservations at Liberty Tree 8:20am, the MK opens at 9am. Can you tell me what I need to do, where to go, can I get that picture in front of the castle, and anything else I need to know? Staying at Pop. Thanks!!

We have had character meals in the Magic Kingdom before park opening many times in the past.

Just arrive at the MK about 20-30 minutes before your scheduled reservation. You will need to go through the security bag check, but the line should not be bad if you are going very early in the morning. Once you are through security, look for a sign that says "character breakfasts." There will be one entry queue open just for this. If you don't see it right away, just ask any cast member. There will be someone at the character breakfast queue with a clipboard checking to make sure you do have a reservation. If you are on the list, you will use your ticket to enter the park.

As you suggest, a pre-park-opening breakfast reservation is often a wonderful time to get a special Magic Kingdom photo of your family. Because the park is so sparsely populated at this time, often you are able to pose in front of the castle without many other guests in the background. There may be PhotoPass photographers available, but if not, simply ask any cast member passing by to take a picture with your camera. You won't want to miss this opportunity to have the entire family in the shot.

After you grab a quick photo, heck in at the Liberty Tree podium and they will take you to your meal.

Hope you have a great breakfast!
