Greetings! We have been to Disneyland many times but normally drive. What is the cheapest way for a family of 4 to get from John Wayne Airport to Grand California Villas?

    chEARs Terra,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I was born and raised in California, and Disneyland Resort was my first Disney Theme Park, so it holds a special place in my hEARt. I am so glad that you are visiting “The Happiest Place on Earth.”

You have quite a few options for getting from John Wayne Airport to Disneyland Resort. There are several commercial shuttle services, and you can also rent a car. But I think a fantastic option is the Disneyland Resort Express. Currently, round-trip fare from the airport is $35 for adults and $11 for kiddos. A one-way ticket from John Wayne Airport is $20 for adults and $7 for children. Babes two and under are free but must sit on an adult’s lap in the coach. Please note, prices are subject to change without notice.

Once you arrive at your hotel, be prepared to be amazed! My family and I loved our recent stay at the Resort, mainly because of the VIP entrance into Disney California Adventure Park! The walk from our room to the Park was three minutes! Depending on the size of your Villa, you will have either a kitchenette or full kitchen. Take advantage of this to save some money on dining costs. There are grocery stores nearby if you rent a car, several grocery delivery services will gladly drop off your groceries, and there is a small store filled with staples on property.

Terra, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. I know you are off to a great adventure!
