Greetings from Costa Rica, I am planning to book my hotel and park tickets to visit WDW during december 2019, but I am not sure if we will need a dinning plan, I would like to know if is possible to add a Dinning Plan later during the year before my visit

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Juan Carlos! Holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort are so much fun! I think you and your family will have a great time celebrating together next December!

There are several options when it comes to adding a Disney Dining Plan to your next vacation reservation. Whether you go the deluxe route that gives you entitlements to the most sought-after restaurants at the Walt Disney Word Resort, or opt for a quick-service dining plan, you will be saving time and money! You will also have your meals paid for before your magical vacation.

Juan Carlos, you can add a Disney Dining Plan to your reservation up to 48-hours before your vacation. So, you have plenty of time to decide. One thing you should keep in mind, is the dining reservation window. It opens up 180 days before your planned visit.

If you have plans to dine with royalty at Cinderella’s Royal Table at the Magic Kingdom Park or try a new dining experience like Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, you will want to make those reservations early. There is a likelihood that reservations for those restaurants will fill up quickly.

Thanks so much for stopping by with your question! If you have any additional questions as you continue planning your magical visit, feel free to visit us again here or at Disney Parks Moms Panel en Español. Helping you with your vacation plans is our pleasure!
