Hiya Ryan,
Welcome to planDisney. Not too much longer and you will be on your way to
The World's Most Magical Celebration! I am excited that you will be there to enjoy all the magic and festivities surrounding the 50th anniversary celebration before it ends on March 31st. Our family had a great time hunting down all the
Disney Fab 50 Character Collection. It was fun seeing who could find all of the golden statues first.
Great job on securing one of the coveted
advanced dining reservations in all of
Walt Disney World Resort.
Cinderella's Royal Table is one of the hardest reservations to make. Partially because the restaurant size is limited and mostly because of how popular it is. I mean, who doesn't want to dine inside Cinderella Castle? The menu is delicious but the beauty of the restaurant itself is what draws our family back. This restaurant is one of the locations that provides a prix fixe menu for a set price, per person and does require payment in full at the time the reservation is made. While, I hope you will not run into an issue where you would need to cancel your reservation, should that occur, you would need to follow the cancellation policy for this restaurant in order to receive a full refund.
Most Disney World restaurants recently changed their
cancellation period from a 24 hour notice to a 2 hour notice before your reservation time. If you cancel less than 2 hours before your reservation, or fail to show, a $10 per person fee (which is subject to change) is charged to the credit card on file. I wanted to make sure that applied to this restaurant however, so I called and spoke with a very helpful Cast Member, who confirmed that Cinderella's Royal Table is still requiring a 24 hour cancellation notice in order to receive a full refund. The cancellation policy is always subject to change so it is best to refer to the information that was provided in your confirmation email when you made the reservation. You can also contact a Cast Member at 407-824-1391 for additional assistance. My suggestion is if you determine you will not be able to make a particular reservation, it is always best to cancel immediately. Not only does that prevent you from accidentally forgetting to do it later ( I have done that often) and being charged a cancellation fee, it allows other Guests who may be trying to obtain a reservation, the chance to snag the table you no longer need.
Hoping you are able to make your reservation and that you love the restaurant as much as we do. If I can assist with any further planning questions, please stop back and
see me.
T-T-F-N (Ta-Ta for now),
Margaret
