    Great Panel-Great Reading - trip fast approaching 8/22-8/30, Have Breakfast 8/28 Chef Mickey's 7:30 AM then planning a day at MK - staying at AKL(excited!) guessing our best bet is Taxi to Contemp.(not renting a car) Agree? Thanks

    Hi Scott,

    I do not think you need a taxi or a rental car to make your reservation at Chef Mickey's. You should be able to board a bus at Animal Kingdom Lodge at about 6:45 am (check the time at the Concierge Desk on arrival) for a Magic Kingdom. It is then a quick 5-10 minute walk to the Contemporary.

    Disney links the Transportation and Dining systems so that they know when guests need to be at their restaurants. This is why they ask you where you will be staying on your vacation.

    I have never had a problem making an early morning reservation using the Disney Transportation system.
