GREAT PANEL -I read it daily - Thank You!! How far in advance do we need to be at our reservation time slot? For example if reservatrion is for 5pm, what time should we really be there, don't want to sit around too much w/ little kids. Going in Sept.?

Disney Dining will generally tell you to be at the restaurant podium 10-15 minutes before your stated reservation time. Realistically, in September, you could probably be there 5-10 minutes in advance and be fine. If you get there and there is a table ready, they will seat you right away. Or if your table is not immediately ready, many of the restaurants have those light-up-buzzer-things-that-restaurants-give-out (do they have a real name?) so that you can wander a little bit away to shop or something until the table is ready.
