Hi, great panel!!! ? photo pass cd, pictures taken on certain rides, can those be put on the CD also? Thanks for all your help.

As you know, there are several attractions at WDW where there is a photo taken of you during the ride. (Buzz Lightyear, Splash Mountain, Expedition Everest, etc.) These photos are available for purchase at the ride exit -- usually for more than $12.00 each. I LOVE the ride photos but at that price point, the cost adds up very quickly. Your expenditure on these photos could be greatly reduced if they could be added to a PhotoPass card and put on a regular PhotoPass CD. However, currently the only attraction for which the ride photo can be added to a PhotoPass card is Test Track.

Nearly a year ago, some of the Moms Panelists heard that equipment was being tested to add this technology to the other photo rides as well. Unfortunately, this is not yet up and running and I haven't heard any updates on the status of this project in quite some time. So for now, if you want your ride photos (other than Test Track), you're going to have to purchase them individually.

As a work-around for this, some people have their cameras ready as they exit the ride and take their own picture of the display screen. In my experience, the resulting photo usually ends up being of very poor quality. But it is a much cheaper way to capture the ride photo than buying it from Disney.
