I have a great Maclaren umbrella stroller that we were planning to use for baby. But I think the 4 year old will need a ride too. Should we buy a cheap umbrella stroller, forego the Maclaren and get a sit & stand, or rent a park stroller for big sis?

    Whitney,

I would say that with a four year old I would still want a stroller. My girls will be almost 5 and 7 on our trip in October, and it will be our first when we try going stroller free.

I would go for cost reduction. Get the cheap umbrella stroller. Having two umbrella strollers, rather than one big one, does mean that two adults have to do the pushing. But you are more mobile, in that it will be easier to navigate crowds with two smaller stroller than one big one.

I also find that should be less expensive that renting in the parks. And when you rent in the park, that means that you have no stroller when you are in transit from your hotel and the theme parks. That can be especially tough in the evenings, if they have started to fall asleep.

I hope that this helps? If not, please send us another question!

    Have a magical vacation!
