What's a great low calorie treat to enjoy in the park?

    Hi there Jonathan,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Planning an adventure at The Happiest Place on Earth is the best.

I always have a goal to eat healthy even when vacationing at the Disneyland Resort, although I do allow for a few treats that are on the rich side. Guests wishing to eat healthy while at the parks have options. There are fresh fruit carts located at both parks, I love the fresh pineapple spear. Speaking of pineapple, head to the Tiki Juice Bar for a Dole Whip float - this has delicious frozen yogurt or sorbet in pineapple juice. There will also be veggie and dip combos too at the fruit carts, you can forgo the dip if you are really looking to cut calories. One of my favorite treats on a hot day at the parks is to get a pickle - they are low calorie and hit the spot when the temperatures are higher.

I also recommend a frozen banana, it’s covered lightly in chocolate and chopped nuts. The frozen bananas will be located at every ice cream cart. This has always been a must-eat treat for me!

I hope this helps and that you have a magical visit. If you have any more questions, please write us back, we're here to help you plan your next pixie-dust Disney vacation.
