What are some great ideas and /or dining for a 21 year olds birthday. Just me and my daughter are coming in Aug to celebrate! Its is her first visit! Thank you for any suggestions!

    Hi Tammy,

Wow a first visit and 21!

Since the Walt Disney World Resort can be overwhelming especially the first time, I think one or two treats would be a great experience. If she is helping you plan, order the Walt Disney World Planning DVD and look at it together. Have her choose some must do's and do them!

There are great restaurants to celebrate her big day. Jiko is my favorite fancy restaurant. My favorite restaurant is the Whispering Canyon Cafe. Birthdays are crazy here. Or try a dinner show like the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue for a great combo.

For resorts, these are my favorites at every price point: Pop Century, Port Orleans Riverside and Beach Club. Again, she may want to stay on the monorail at the Polynesian or the animal lover might want Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Plus there are great tours like the Wild Africa Trek which I did with my daughter to celebrate 16!

You can look for deals for the summer soon!
