Grandson will be going to Disney World end of September with Make a Wish Foundation. Grandparents (me) will be staying in the park, but not sure where it is best for adults to stay. Looking for moderate resort perhaps the Contemporary. Any suggestions?

Hi, Kurt!  I hope that your grandson and your family has an absolutely magical vacation!

The Contemporary Resort is a great location.  Being on the monorail, it's very convenient to the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, and the rooms can accommodate up to five people.  It is not, however, considered a moderate priced resort.  The Contemporary is a deluxe resort, and it comes with both a deluxe price tag, and deluxe features like larger rooms, limited in room dining, three full service restaurants (Chef Mickey's, the California Grill, and The Wave), shopping, and recreation.

There are quite a few options in a moderate resort, including the Coronado Springs, Caribbean Beach, and Port Orleans French Quarter, which is one of my favorites.  I like the French Quarter because it's compact, has great walking paths, and has a wonderful pool.  Coronado is also a terrific option, although it is spread out a bit more.

I am wishing your grandson a vacation sprinkled with pixie dust!  It must be incredibly special for you to have the opportunity to share this trip with him, and I hope it is spectacular for all of you!
