Hi there, Patricia!
Welcome to planDisney; I'm so glad you stopped by!
First and foremost, I want to tell you how sorry I am that your grandson will miss out on such a magical vacation with you. I understand plans sometimes change, but I do hope he can make the next vacation with you to The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Patricia, unfortunately,
theme park tickets are nonrefundable; however, if you booked a Walt Disney World Resort
Vacation Package and are within the timeframe window, which is usually 30 days before your check-in date, you may be able to modify your package to remove his tickets without additional fees. To have a Cast Member look into your account and check if this is the case, please call
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations, and they'll be happy to assist you.
This includes Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket; however, if you purchased the ticket separately, I recommend calling
Existing Tickets so they can discuss your best options regarding the event ticket. I also called and spoke with a Cast Member and was told that you could reapply the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket's value towards another special event ticket later on as long as it's not used.
I hope you're still planning on enjoying
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party; it's my absolute favorite extra-ticketed event! Between watching Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show, meeting special Disney characters, and my favorite parade of all time, Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, it is such a spooktacular time!
Wishing you an enchanting visit, Patricia!
Aena
