    Grandpa buying grandkids (under 10yo) FL tickets. He lives in FL panhandle, other than driving to WDW for will call/theme park how else can activate the tickets? We have meal plan & staying WDW resort; wish to maximize meal reservation 180day prior

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Christina! I’m so happy you stopped by with your planning questions. It’s our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

    Grandpa is so generous to purchase theme park tickets for his grandchildren! As of right now, the only places you can activate and show Proof of Florida Residency for Florida Resident theme park tickets is in person at any of the theme park ticket windows, or the Guest Services location at Disney Springs. 

    Christina, grandpa can also gift the children a Disney Gift Card to over the costs of the theme park tickets. Those magical dollars are valid for theme park tickets, merchandise or at any Walt Disney World Resort restaurant. So whether you decide to use it toward tickets or other goodies during your stay, I’m sure his efforts will be appreciated!

    Being a guest at a Disney Resort hotel definitely has its benefits! You get to enjoy complimentary MagicBands, Extra Magic Hours and just the convenience of being close to the magic! 

    Christina, making your dining reservations is an easy process. You can start making reservations at 7:00a.m.,180 days before your visit. Disney Dining Plans help you maximize your dining dollars, so be sure to mention that your family will be utilizing dining credits when you make it to your long-awaited dining reservations. It’s the first question your server will ask you when you’re handed your menus!
