My grandmother who is a FL resident got my brothers and I disney tickets for christmas. We are not fl residents could my brothers and I still use the tickets

    Hi Erika,

I am not sure if what you have received is an actual ticket or a voucher for a ticket. I can tell you that you must present a Florida ID or drivers license to be able to purchase and use a Florida resident ticket. The Disney ticket agents ask for proof of residency for each ticket purchased with this discount so it is my thought that she did not actually purchase Florida resident passes for you and your brothers since she would not have been able to show a Florida ID for each of you. If it does not indicate it is a Florida pass, it is most likely a general admission park pass and would be available for use.

If what grandma purchased was a Florida resident voucher that is good for the value of a park pass, when you go to redeem it, you would be asked to present proof of Florida residency for each of you. Given the fact that you are not Florida residents and would not be able to do this, you would be able to use the value of what she did purchase towards the purchase of a general admission ticket. I would look at the ticket or voucher closely for any wording indicating it is a Florida pass.

    Good luck!
