My grandmother lives in Florida and has offered to buy my husband, son, and I tickets to Disney. She mentioned getting Florida resident tickets. Would there be an issue with us using them as she does not plan to come with us? Thanks!

    Hi Kayla,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Thanks for stopping by and submitting your question.

Your grandmother sounds like such a sweet lady!  How nice of her to offer to send you to the Most Magical Place on Earth, the Walt Disney World Resort.

Unfortunately, I hate to have to tell you that only Florida residents qualify to purchase and use Florida resident tickets.  Proof of Florida residency is required at the time of purchase.  However, please don't let this get you down! The Special Offers webpage shows you all kinds of good deals on rooms and packages.  Bookmark this page for your current and future vacations, as offers change frequently.  There are so many new things coming to the Walt Disney World Resort and, if you're at all like me, you just can't wait to experience them all!

Kayla, please come by and see us again if you have any additional questions.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
