Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Brooke! Thanks for sending in your question about
Walt Disney World Resort Florida Resident theme park tickets.
When it comes to purchasing and using Florida Resident theme park tickets, they must first be activated by showing
Proof of Florida Residency. Anyone over the age of 18 must show valid ID at any Ticket window or
Disney Springs Guest Services location in order to be able to use this type of ticket.
If your grandfather is purchasing a theme park ticket for a child under the age of 18, he would be able to activate that ticket using his Proof of Florida Residency. This ticket would only need to be activated on the first visit of a multiple day ticket.
Brooke, if you’re looking to purchase three day or longer tickets for adults, you can take advantage of a
promotion being offered via the Disney ticket web page. This promotion will save you $20! I also encourage you to take a look at the
Special Offers page on the Disney site. Mickey and his friends offer all kinds of promotions for every magical season of the year!
Don’t hesitate to stop back in to see us if you have any additional questions. Helping you with the details of your next visit to the most magical place on earth is our pleasure!
