Welcome to planDisney, Debra! A visit with your granddaughter that includes time with the Disney Princesses sounds like such a special way to create lasting memories, and I’m happy to help you explore your options.
When it comes to
Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures, flexibility and persistence can definitely work in your favor. I recommend a two-pronged approach. First, continue checking the
Disneyland app and website regularly for dining availability. During this busy holiday window, Guests often adjust plans, and reservations can open up unexpectedly. Refreshing the app periodically can sometimes reveal a newly released time.
Second, Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures does occasionally accept same-day reservations on a very limited basis, subject to availability. If you’re able, consider arriving in the morning and inquiring in person before the experience begins. For the dates you’ll be visiting, breakfast is scheduled to start at 8:00 a.m., so arriving earlier may improve your chances.
There are also a couple of important planning notes to keep in mind. While Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures typically takes place at Napa Rose, the experience has temporarily moved to the Trillium Ballroom inside
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel due to ongoing renovations. If you’re attempting a walk-up request, that’s where you’ll want to head. Additionally, Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures will not be offered on Wednesday, December 31, or Thursday, January 1, so you’ll want to focus your efforts on the remaining dates during your granddaughter’s visit.
If a dining reservation doesn’t come together, there’s still a wonderful alternative for meeting princesses together. At
Royal Hall in Disneyland, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on your visit dates, Guests can meet up to three beloved Disney Princesses, pose for photos, and collect autographs. Experiences like these often become treasured keepsakes. I still look back fondly on memories from my own daughters’ first princess encounters.
Debra, I hope this helps you feel prepared as you plan something truly magical with your granddaughter. If you have any more questions or would like additional tips, please stop by and see us again at planDisney.
Have a wonderful visit!
David
