    Granddaughter and her father are Florida residents. I am not. I want to purchase a gift certificate for them. Will they get Florida resident discounts when they book using gift certificate? How much on a gift certificate will give them a couple nice days

    What a thoughtful gesture to purchase a Disney Gift Card for your granddaughter and her father to use toward a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Since her father is a Florida resident, as long as he can show valid proof of Florida residency he will be able to use the gift card to purchase Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park tickets at the discounted Florida resident rate.

    I would recommend taking a look at the offers available on the Florida Residents page of the Walt Disney World Resort website before making your decision about a dollar amount. Once you have an idea of how much you want to spend, you may either purchase a Disney Gift Card at a Disney Store location near you or a local big box retailer, pharmacy or grocery store (or you may purchase a digital gift card online). Please keep in mind that the maximum amount you can put on a single Disney Gift Card is $1,000.
