Hey there Tenny, welcome to planDisney, and thank you for reaching out to me directly. I love seeing that you and your granddaughter are making a trip to Walt Disney World Resort when she comes down to visit you. September and October are truly magical times, especially at Magic Kingdom Park when Mickey and the rest of the Fab Five set out all the jack-o'-lanterns, scarecrows, and offer special holiday treats for all the Guests. It is a ghoulishly delightful time.
Recently Walt Disney World Resort changed their
special event ticket purchases and
dining reservations to a more detailed online experience. The reservation system is updated to the minute and shows you exactly what is available at that time point. Where in the past cast members may have had access to see more details with each event or dining reservation that privilege is now available for everyone. If
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on September 29, 2023, shows that it is sold out at the moment you try to book the ticket then, unfortunately, it is sold out. My suggestion is to keep checking daily the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket reservation page to see if anything changes. If there are no changes prior to your visit then I suggest you visit Magic Kingdom Park on that day to see if there are any tickets available. If the party is sold out there will be a sign outside the theme park verifying. I wish I had much better news but due to the popularity of these events, they sell out very quickly. They do not oversell the event because they want to make sure that the lower crowds provide an optimal experience for the price of admission.
planDisney Pro Tip: There are other fun experiences dealing with candy and Halloween to enjoy even if the party is sold out. Head over to
Goofy's Candy Company for some treats and to the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival to participate in
Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit. No matter what, your granddaughter will make memories to last a lifetime with you.
Tenny, it has been my pleasure to help you. Please feel free to
write back directly with any follow-up questions about your Disney adventure.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
