My granddaughter is coming down June 17th she's 21 years old and she lives in New Mexico I want to buy tickets now and go to Disneyland on June 17th is that possible for her?

    Hi Kari,

Getting to spend time with your granddaughter sounds magical in and of itself, but getting to visit The Happiest Place on Earth together would certainly be something you'd both remember forever!

While Disney recently announced that its gates will be opening to non-California residents beginning June 15th and it is possible to plan trips with out-of-state Mouseketeers at this point, unfortunately, the availability calendar is not showing any openings in June. You can certainly keep an eye on it to see if something changes and availability opens up, but for now, you'll need to plan your magical day with your granddaughter for sometime in July or later. Under the phased reopening, Disney is committed to working closely with health officials to determine safe attendance levels, and all Guests are required to not only have valid tickets, but also theme park reservations.

If you're not able to find theme park availability for this visit, I'd encourage you to make a dining reservation and enjoy an outing to the Downtown Disney District together. You'll still get to experience some Disney magic and fun and enjoy a scrumptious meal while you're at it!

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, Kari, and I'm sending pixie dust that you and your granddaughter have a truly magical visit together!
