Hey there, Susan!
I'm so happy to welcome you to planDisney! How exciting it is that you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World with your grandchildren. It truly doesn't get much more magical than that! And what a perfect time in their lives. At their ages, everything in the parks feels so wondrous, where seeing really is believing, and the magic of Disney comes alive in every moment. I can just imagine how special it will be for you, too – experiencing all of the enchantment and joy of the parks through your grandchildren's eyes. Watching their excitement, their laughter, and their sheer amazement is such an unforgettable part of the Disney experience, and it's sure to create memories you'll all cherish for a lifetime.
Now, to answer your question about discounted theme park tickets: I noticed that you're from Florida. You are welcome to purchase
Florida Resident tickets for your grandchildren if they are also Florida residents. However, if they don't reside in Florida, they unfortunately would not be eligible for this particular offer.
That said, Disney World regularly releases
Special Offers directly on their website. For example, there's currently a fantastic
offer for Disney+ Subscribers: a 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket that includes admission to Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and Animal Kingdom. Tickets start at $109 per day, plus tax (total price starting at $325, plus tax). This is a date-based ticket, with start dates from January 12th to May 22, 2026, and must be used within 5 days of the selected start date. This ticket allows you one admission per theme park, per day.
The only limitation of this particular offer is that it does not include Magic Kingdom. So if you're hoping to visit there, a
separate ticket would need to be purchased.
In addition to ticket offers, Disney is currently offering room discounts, military offers, and a
free dining plan for kids when booked with a Walt Disney Travel Company package. I'd recommend
bookmarking the Special Offers page and checking it regularly, as new offers are frequently added.
Another way to save when purchasing your park tickets is to buy
Disney Gift Cards. Some third-party retailers sell them at a small discount, and you can then use these gift cards to purchase theme park tickets, which can add up to some nice savings.
Susan, I hope this gives you a helpful starting point for finding some great ways to save on your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth. If you have any other questions come up as you continue planning, you're always welcome back at planDisney – we're here to help make your trip as magical as possible!
Magic Awaits,
