    Our grandchildren are visiting Disneyland in January 2024 and we would love to give them some US dollars for Christmas so they can start saving for their trip. We are just wondering if cash is the best option for us to get them. They will be 9 and 10.

    I think your gift idea for your grandchildren is terrific. There are so many wonderful stores throughout the Disneyland Resort, such as the Emporium and the World of Disney; I’m sure they will find something they love.

    Back to your question -- Cash is widely accepted throughout the Disneyland Resort and can be an option for your gift. Another idea would be a Disney Gift Card. My niece and nephew each received a gift card for Christmas right before their first trip to the Disneyland Resort, and although they are young (under 8), they loved the sense of independence they had when paying on their own with their card. It is another second option for you to consider.
