Hi Michael!
Welcome to planDisney!
The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are some of the most elegant rooms in the Disney Vacation Club family. My kids are absolutely fascinated by the televisions in the bathroom mirrors, and as a Mary Poppins fan, the lobby with all the nods to this classic movie is one of my favorites in the Disney Vacation Club Collection. With gorgeous views of the Seven Seas Lagoon, and a short Monorail, boat trip, or walk to Magic Kingdom, The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the perfect home base for your Walt Disney World vacation!
To the best of my knowledge, all
Disney Vacation Club Villas are back open to their typical capacity, except those rooms at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa that are undergoing reimagining. Keep in mind that under Florida law, a certain percentage of villas are not part of
Disney Vacation Club inventory and are available to be rented to all Guests on a cash basis. This is why there may be cash inventory available to the general public, but you may not see availability to book with Vacation Points.
Currently, there are also non-villa cash rooms available for Guests at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Several of the dining and shopping locations have also reopened, as well as the pools and fitness center. Recently the
Electrical Water Pageant has also resumed its nightly show for Guests along the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake.
I hope this helps to answer your question, Michael. Please let us know if you have any additional questions we can help you with.
Wishing you
